Girl with dark hair print

To take a little break from the Christmas cards, I have decided I would work on one of my little girl illustration.  The original drawing was made using oil pastels on paper. I scanned it and reworked it very slightly and then printed it on a very thick (300 g) A4 watercolour paper. It was a little bit tricky to have the printer accepting it, and then to print straight but in the end, the result was really worth the effort! That paper is absolutely gorgeous with such an interesting texture, the print is beautiful :) The only step now is to find a nicer frame for it and a place on my wall!

The dandelion and the little girl

My little Zu and a cut dandelion from our garden. She loves to blow on them and see the seeds fly away. I must admit I love it too and it definitely is one of the little things that make Summer such a special season!

Red Bubble ....

I have decided I was gonna give Red Bubble another try. I went through a LOT of my pictures and reworked (or sometimes not)a few of them and uploaded them on RB. It is always a pleasure to stumble upon old and forgotten images. Blurry sensations, lingering feelings of the lost moment suddenly overwhelming the present, making it taste slightly different. Back from holidays...

We happened to spend a nice summer holidays at my parents in France. They have a farm where they grow organic chickens, ducks and guinea fowls... It was lovely to see A. running after the poultry, getting the eggs the hens had laid during the night or day, eat fruits from the trees. We really had a great time and the place is so nice, we miss it already!

Time flies..

It's June already and well, time to go back to some creative work... Lately, I have really dedicated my free time to learn a new craft : embroidery. I tried it just for fun and just to "see what it looks like"... Hmmm.... I am afraid the art of stitches on canvas is highly addictive! Just wish I had more time to practice and practice again and again but oh well, I am having fun and this is what it is all about in the end. Leaving by the seaside, no surprise my mind came with two water related patterns :) A lovely whale swimming among red aquatic flowers and a crazy seagull resting on the blue sea.
