Rabbits, rabbits, rabbits!

Ok, the reference to the series "Spaced" (amazingly and weirdly funny!!!) is not really fitting with what I want to show you today ; But hey, since the day I saw that scene, when I hear the word "rabbit", I can't help myself repeating it 3 times in a hysterical voice…

Well, back to my little bunnies :)
I just finished a new embroidery hoop I am very happy with! I kinda took a risk with using a combination of different fabrics for the background, especially with using a very "flowery" one!
But the result is incredibly sweet and definitely cute!
The theme is perfect for a baby nursery, or even a child bedroom : a baby bunny and his mama resting in the meadow :)

My little blue whale

Et voilà !

I have finished working on my little whale embroidery. And I love the result !

I got quite despaired for a while because I couldn't manage to figure out how to deal with her eye… Took me a few hours of reflexion and I put the project aside for a day or two.

And then … tadaaaaaa 

It all came into places :)

Doll

It has been a long time I have wanted to do my own rag doll.
So yesterday I got up thinkining : "Today is THE day!! I am gonna sew my first DOLL!"
I looked a bit on internet and was very lucky to stumble upon this blog : Makeit-loveit.com where the writer shares her own pattern and instructions to realise some lovely dolls. Hers are absolutely gorgeous!!!!
So, I followed her instructions, made a few mistakes but in the end I was very happy and proud with the result. It was not as easy as it looked (of course, it never is!) but I have learnt quite a lot of things during the process.
Bonus : my daughter lover her new doll, so everything is perfectly fine :)
